		<description>I think it&#039;s associated with fund-raising for churches and other organizations because it&#039;s a low-cost way to raise money; that usually occurs on the east coast where there is a comparatively large population of Catholics near the ocean, so that crabs are readily available and relatively inexpensive.  We also have such things here in the Pacific Northwest; they&#039;re often associated with the Native American tribes in this area, but other organizations do it as well.  Also a good way to get a crab dinner comparatively inexpensively (Dungeness crab is native to our area, and it&#039;s VERY pricey in a restaurant!) - very good stuff, and the money goes for a good cause :-)&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
