Questions about plastic fundraising?
A church in WV is doing a fundraising drive with plastic lids from bottles. We were told for every 1,500 turned in, it paid for one leukemia treatment. We cannot get in contact with the Church or people involved, but where I work we have been collecting and have a lot. Has anyone ever heard of this,and if so, possibly give us some information. Thanks!
I have not heard of this fundraiser, but usually the collected items are recycled and the money is given to the organization it was intended for. Maybe you should contact the American Cancer Society and ask where the money can be given to provide someone with leukemia treatments.
