Fundraisers for youth group?

Okay, so myself and four other teens from my church's youth group are going to Boston for a competition. The church is going to put $100 towards each of our plane tickets/hotel stay. We still need $210 each.
We were thinking about having a Super Bowl Party to raise the money, and also to have a babysitting night on Valentine's Day.
So, I need your help. Do you like those ideas? And do you have any other ideas that we could use? Remember, we're just teenagers.
Thanks!

The Valentine's Day idea is great – Good job!

You can never go wrong with a bake sale. You guys bake stuff and ask some ladies at your church to donate baked items. Hold the sale in your church and advertise in the area so you'll get others besides church members coming to the sale. I've found that if you don't price the items, but ask for donations people will surprise you at how much they will give.

well, u could go several difrent ways. my youth group had a dumb movie night and the earlier u left, the more you had 2 pay. lol. we watched lots of dumb movies. u shud watch american mall, then attack of the killer tomatoes, you can add more, but those are the ones that come to mind. there are rules also. (1) you must watch the movies with out getting out of ur chair (only to use the bathroom or get a snack) (2) ur first snack is free, but for the next ones, u have to pay. (make costs like ten bucks 4 a piece of fruit lolz. (3) u cant get out unless u pay! (4) NO SLEEPING

getting in is free, but getting out will cost u. start the lock in @ 9:00 p.m. start the movies. start the cost at 25 bucks to get out bring the cost $1 down every 2 movies (don't be afraid to re run). lolz. keep going til everyone is gone (or the price to get out is free).

fun fun fun. good luck! :)

Hey, I am a regional rep for Antiquities and Creative Touch Portrait Fundraising.
We have been in business for more than 20 years and specialize in church and school fundraisers. We have also worked with adoption agencies, relay for life, and many other non-profit organizations.
We have a variety of programs from old time sepia children’s portraits to full color, modern day. To give you a brief example of the profits you can earn:

    Photograph 60, profit $1000
    Photograph 80, profit $1500
    Photograph 100, profit $2300
    Photograph 150, profit $3600
    Photograph 200, profit $5100
    Photograph 300, profit $7600
    Photograph 400, profit $10000

It is a super simple program with you invest no money. Coupons for a free 10×13 portrait are sold to families for $10. That is 100% profit to you and in addition, you earn cash bonuses based on the number of sittings photographed.

If you would like some additional details and information, please contact me at 1.800.871.6255, ask for Melisa

Good luck with your fundraising venture!
