What kinds of giftbaskets should my church do as a fundraiser for father's day?

we are trying to raise funds for the youth group to go on a mission trip this summer. the idea is to sell giftbaskets for father's day. we have thought of a few different kinds of baskets, golf, barbecue, tools(in a toolbox)
What kind would you buy for your father?
Any suggestions are welcome.

Movie basket (has popcorn, candy, video rental card, or movie tickets)
Date night basket ( gift cards to dinner, movie tickets, mini golf vouchers, bowling vouchers, etc..)

Electronic guy ( best buy gift card, or to an Electronics place, plus batteries, power cords, power strip, stuff that will be useful wireless mouse)

sports like motioned above.

Game guy (video games, spare memory card, etc)

Hope this helps add to your list!

My dad is big on football, so that is always a good one. Any sports are good, and I like the barbeque one. What about a carwashing one. I don't know where you live, but out here a lot of dads I know are in to washing their own cars.

    Just a few ideas

I like all the idea you have… you can try and cover most of the sports and have a lot of baskets… gardening tools as well, those aren't just for the ladies. The biggest thing with making the baskets is that you don't want to spend more than you are going to make. Buying all of the stuff to fill the baskets can add up quick! Good Luck! In the future, here are a few things that our church does… We have a Soup Luncheon, the youth families and other members make the soups, we have bread sticks also, coffee, ect… there is not a set price at our church, it is a free will offering (fundraiser), usually they leave very generous offerings. The kids promote and work at the luncheon and make a good amount of money. TNT… Time and Talent, a youth Revue, and dinner show. Cost, x amount of dollars. We have a silent auction, youth volunteer anything from babysitting, yard work, making scarves, other members of the church might offer a Barbeque for a certain number of people… then we have a silent auction for the small items and a regular auction for the big things… like the Barbeque. hope this gives you some other ideas for the future. Good Luck and God Bless!!!
