i need help thinking of fund raising ideas.?
my friends church youth group and i are wanting to go to west Virginia to help people rebuild and fix their houses. But in order to do that we need to have 250 each person! her church can not afford for eight of us to go so we have fundraisers. We are doing a bake sale and sloppy Joe lunch once a month. we made a profit of three hundred and fifty dollars which is a huge profit considering the size of the church. i need ideas of how to make money. and what is a good price for a car wash because that is the only thing we can think of at this point. Thanks
well if you have to do the car wash then i would say about 5 dollars a car. i would also have a mini bake sale.

i think you could charge at least $5 per car. around here even the cheapest automated washes cost at least $6, so maybe you could even go a bit higher considering you're hand washing the cars.
so far as other ideas… i donno, maybe a raffle? in any case, good luck with the trip.

we don’t do car wash or bake sales we wash car window at the gas station
we walk up to the preson after they get out of the car and tell them want we are doing it for and ask to wash the OUTSIDE of there windows we just did it two weeks ago withid misting raining and raised $600.00 in 5 hours
things to know : work at a really busy station; wear nothing that would scratch a car;use good paper towels and real Windex to cut cost have the church ppl bring in the thing you need
teach them how to clean car windows in your own parking lot on a Sunday or wednesday night..
