Are candy fundraisers good for making money?
hi> im trying to raise money for a missionary that my churchs youth group is doing. we want to go to west virginia. we have already made 350 dollars at a bakesale. we all need 250 dollars a piece and there are eight of us going.
one of my other questions—
my friends church youth group and i are wanting to go to west Virginia to help people rebuild and fix their houses. But in order to do that we need to have 250 each person! her church can not afford for eight of us to go so we have fundraisers. We are doing a bake sale and sloppy Joe lunch once a month. we made a profit of three hundred and fifty dollars which is a huge profit considering the size of the church. i need ideas of how to make money. and what is a good price for a car wash because that is the only thing we can think of at this point. Thanks
i don't think so. Every dollar you get, a certain percentage goes to the master company.
Instead why don't you work for your dollars? Why not go to local churches and see if the elderly need help? Like charge $20 to wash down walls, or a certain fee to paint a porch, or clean out cupboards, etc.
Then you get the whole dollar.
