What’s a good idea for a church fundraiser?
We have almost all older people (over 50) at our church. Our youth club has about 10 people in it. the church is small and our youth group is trying to raise money for our own youth room. We have already had dinners, raffles, plays, car washes and bake sales. Any other ideas for a fun fundraiser?

My chuch just recently were raising money for missions at our church.
We had a bake sale. but i see you already did that. =D
We had people from our church make all these different deserts, like cookies, cupcakes, pies and so on and we sold them on the side of wal*mart. We got permission i’m pretty sure. We raised over about $800 close to $900…it was fun. we had music playing on a stereo.
we also got my sister to dress up as a clown and face paint kids faces. it was a lot of fun and was so worth it.
So you could try a bake sale again. have someone to face paint kids faces, you could have yard or garage sales paint pictures and sell them (if anyone is really into art), you could go around to peoples houses and ask for their empty bottles or cans or something like that and say that you are trying to raise money for your church…

Have a senior/teen dance. Ask kids from the local schools to participate and everyone could a ask a older person to the dance. Charge like 5 per a person. It will make the older people feel good about themselves and youthfull lol. We do it at our local ymca in my area and its a HIT! lol. Its a idea. Everyone will love it. Its fun.
