Church Fundraisers

Everything about church fundraisers

What are good ideas for a church youth group?

our advisors are asking like what we can do to enhance our church youth group and make it better and more fun for everyone. This is basically what we do now: sing, praise dance, we have a youth sunday, read the bible and talk about our weeks (because we meet on Fridays) so what do you think are more things we can do. Once we did a fundraiser and it was like we made a restaurant in the fellowship hall and served people meals we cooked, but then we basically had money for no reason, so we need ideas on what to do. thanks

[EDITED]

Invite "Paul Washer" or "Mark Cahill" to go to speak to the kids at your church. : )

or

You can gather up a bunch of them to attend the "CREATION MUSEUM" and have like a huge camp type TRIP. It’s supposed to be better then the whole Universal Studios ordeal! Mainly, cause you learn while your on the rides AND it’s all biblically sound!!!! (Great for all Ages!)

P.S. I think they give out discounts for church groups.

how about a P.I.E. night. that stand for Pizza, Intercession, Evangelism. Have some pizza, meet and pray, then go out in the local community and share the gospel with people. I think there was some info about it at livingwaters.com

you can always have fund raisers and donate the money to local charities. I thought that this was the way of Jesus…not cookouts?
don’t get me wrong, I’m all for having fun, but it just seems to me that if you have extra money, you should donate it…isn’t that the whole point of a church fundraiser, to give back to the community?

How about studying the bible together… with your own opinions and not that of the preacher.

I go to the children’s group at my synagogue every Sabbath, and we usually make an art project that relates to the week’s Torah reading, so maybe you could do some sort of religious art project? They have them at Oriental Trading, or you can get imaginative.
