Does your area have a serious drug problem? If so, you might organize an anti-drug campaign for the area's elementary schools. Is your community trying to go green? Try to round up some experts from a nearby university or Keep America Beautiful chapter to come speak at a free public workshop. Do any of your schools grow their own vegetables? If not, help build some school gardens. Well take a trip somewhere like a retreat to some natural wonder and observe the sheer beauty of creation. This might give an opportunity for your group to get more out of it.
