  Have some sort of nice lunch after church. People are already there, and they can give an offering to your cause instead of paying to go to a restaurant.

  Have someone who is good with their hands to make something special like a quilt or maybe a table from a woodworker, all churches have talented people in this way, and then raffle it off.

  Have an auction. Get local stores donate something. They can take if off their taxes and it is good publicity for them.

  Have a singing contest and sell tickets at the door to watch the singers. Family and friends will buy all the tickets. They all want to see their kids sing.

  Have a fish fry dinner and charge by the plate….for example, fried fish, red beans and rice, coleslaw. There is always someone around who has one of those big pots to fry the fish in. May be able to get the oil and paper plates donated.

  If any of you have a green thumb, you could have a plant sale. Sell rooted cuttings, which doesn’t cost anything and also have books. A plant and book sale will bring in money.

  The young men in the church could volunteer to mow grass for people and denote the money to the church.

  The idea behind this fundraiser is that your church creates a website/portal that your congregation to use. There is no cost to the user, but as they spend time viewing, shopping, downloading music or emailing on the site your church earns money from advertising revenue collected by http://www.fundraiser.ijango.biz
  Another way to raise money is to recruit people to join ijango.biz. They will then work for your organization to promote their own site. Your organization earns commission when they get people to join and get a % of the revenue generated as their friends use their website/portal. This is a multilevel marketing system for the internet. The beauty is that your friends continue to use the sites they currently visit on the internet they just go through the church site first.
