Church Fundraisers

Everything about church fundraisers

What are some really good fundraisers?

I am trying to raise money to go on a Mission with my church, and my mom wont pay for any of it. So if you have any good ideas that would be very helpful.
thanks

You can try selling low cost items for a bigger profit (like water, candy or lemonade). $5 for a 24 pack of water. Sell for $1 each you get $19 each case. You can try a bake sale. You should ask your church for help somehow. Its easier if they get involved b/c they have a "community." If they advertise a bake sale and have all participants allowed to sell there, more buyers are there. It’s easy to think big but going small is more realistic.

You could sell cupcakes or baked goods, you could have a yard sale. You could also try and raise money at your school.

A good idea is go to a popular area and have a free service of some sort.
People will be free to pay any price if they wish.
Have signs saying "Free _, fundraiser for our Church"
    Idea for that:
    Car Wash

You could also do a street performance.

If you’re gonna do something, do it in an area of interest. The free car wash would go near an auto-parts store

I went by a free car wash last year. It made more money that day than the auto-shop it was next to.

DoodlyCouch.com is a great company for fundraisers because they have no minimum order – you can sell 1 book or 10000, and they also require no money up front – you make the sales and then keep the profit.

They have a whole series of drawing journals, so instead of writing in a journal you draw every day – they have a great book, also, called "Draw Your Feelings Out," which asks kids questions like, "How do you feel about… your friends.." and then the child draws their answers. These are very cool. They also have about 10 other kinds for adults or anybody – patients, caregivers, teenagers, new moms, pregnant moms, travelers, etc.

    Good luck!

How old are you? There was a young woman interviewed on NPR not too long ago who ran in a long distance race and had sponsors. She was trying to retire her education loans so she could enter a convent and raised $17,000. If you’re younger, you might consider things like yardwork around the neighborhood or washing cars.
