When we host our Pasta dinner (for about 100-120 people) I buy two 8 pound bags of dry spaghetti and we ALWAYS have leftovers. It's about 1.5 ounces servings per person (which a large amount of pasta!). I would suggest that you buy one pound of spaghetti for every 8 people.
