Aberdeen Concert Highlights
Myself and some of the boys playing at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen, SD on February 10th, 2007. I was running on fumes at this concert, having just finished a big youth group fundraiser (Valapalooza) the night before in Rapid City.

How do you transform a function hall into An Evening Under the Stars event on a budget?
Hello- I am holding a fundraising event for my church and the name of it is Evening under the Stars. We are hoping to create a ceiling with gossamer and use twinkle lights above it to creat a night sky atmosphere. We are looking for more ideas on how to transform the space -walls, entrance etc and do not have a lot of money to work with. Any ideas out there? Thank you!
You can always buy some tulle at a fabric place and it comes in a variety of colors. Tulle is fun to work with, you can bunch it up and put Christmas lights in it. You can buy some sheer wired ribbon and sew the edges together and also put a string of lights in it, hang the strips in the door way and drape them back with other ribbon. Not sure if this is much help but maybe it will help jog your creative side. Good luck.
